Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Smart Home Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, app configuration, and technical troubleshooting, along with a willingness to learn and grow in the rapidly evolving field of smart home technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain smart home automation systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Perform electrical installations and ensure all wiring meets safety standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot smart home applications and devices.
- Crimp and terminate Cat6 cables for network connectivity.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in smart home technology and automation systems.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical systems and installations.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting smart home applications.
- Skilled in crimping and terminating Cat6 cables.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification or training in smart home automation systems.
- Experience with various smart home platforms (e.g., Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
- Knowledge of home networking and IP configuration.
